You can teach an old dog new tricks! I'm 41 years old and have never learnt to ride a bike. My wife and her sister are heading off for a charity bike ride from London to Paris to raise money for transplants in the developing world (www.justgiving.com/wendypowell), which inspired me to finally have a go at cycling myself. I headed off to the try-a-bike session at Frobisher house, and Thea very patiently got me onto a bike and starting to pedal. Back at the roadshow the following week, this time in the (very public) Bargates, once again helped by a very patient and helpful Thea, I cycled properly...
